The LARPA Contest was organized beginning in 2005 to honor the best work in modern live roleplay. Entries go into the LARPA GameBank to help promote LARP.

[edit] Outline of Rules
Games compete either in the 5-12 player category or the 12-24+ player category. Each category will have one $200 winner, and one of the winners will receive "best overall" for a total prize of $300. Games must have a flexibility of at least 6 players. So for example a game could be for 12-18 players, or 18-24 players. Games may be written with more characters than 24 available, provided all other criteria are also met. Games can be run privately for playtest purposes How to Enter:
- Read the two sets of rules. The Competition Rules tell you about the Contest, the Entry Rules tell you how your game has to be set up.
- Fill out the Official Contest Entry Form
- Submit your game as an Intercon Mid-Atlantic 2007 bid, so that it can be scheduled.
- Write your game. The Draft Ratings forms can help you figure out what to include.
